Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Station Firebombed

Isla Vista - January 1st, 2012

On January 1st, 2012, at approximately 2339 hours, an unknown suspect(s) threw a combustible device, similar to a Molotov cocktail, at the Isla Vista Foot Patrol Station located at 6504 Trigo Road. The building was occupied at the time. No one was injured and the structure sustained very minor damage.

It is unknown if this incident is related to the similar arson attack that occurred at the Isla Vista Foot Patrol Station on November 15, 2011. This is an ongoing investigation and the Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information regarding this event to contact them at 681-4100.
