Sheriff's Detectives Arrest 4 in Prostituion Sting
Goleta - March 1st, 2012
Detectives with the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau have arrested four local men for soliciting prostitution during two separate sting operations in Goleta.
In each case, the suspect would respond to an online ad for sex. The suspect would then agree to meet an undercover deputy at a local motel where he would offer money in exchange for sex.
The first operation in mid-December resulted in the arrest of Daniel David Laub (DOB 5/20/77) of Goleta. The second operation on February 24, 2012 resulted in the arrest of Rolando Tomas Santiago Mendoza (DOB 7/20/91) of Goleta, Christopher Erick Lund (DOB 1/19/55) of Goleta, and Moises Perez (DOB 10/29/91) of Santa Barbara
All four men were booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for soliciting prostitution (647(B) PC). The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau will conduct more sting operations in the future.
