Body Found Along Gaviota Shoreline Identified

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau has identified the body found along the Gaviota shoreline as Jeffrey David Nancarrow (DOB 11/24/82) of the Santa Barbara area.
The Santa Barbara Police Department made a missing persons report on Mr. Nancarrow on Friday, May 25, 2012. He was last seen at approximately 9:45pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
The cause and manner of death have not been determined. A final report is expected to take several weeks.

Body Found Along Gaviota Shoreline
Coroner’s Bureau investigates death that does not appear suspicious
Santa Barbara—The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau is investigating the death of a man whose body was found along the Gaviota shoreline this weekend.
At approximately 8:50am on Saturday, June 9, 2012, a citizen reported seeing an adult male body north of Gaviota Beach at an area known as “Poison Oak Point.”
Personnel from the Sheriff’s Office and the Santa Barbara Search and Rescue Team combined to recover the body of the man whose death does not appear to be suspicious.
The Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau has identified the man, who lived in the Santa Barbara area. However, his name is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
