Goleta Police Search for Suspected Robber
Goleta - December 7th, 2011
Goleta Police are looking for a man suspected of attempting to rob a pharmacy earlier today.
At approximately 11:33am on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, a man walked into the Rite-Aid pharmacy on the 100 block of North Fairview Avenue in Goleta and handed the employee at the pharmacy a note that demanded a prescription drug.
The suspect threatened the clerk by saying he had a gun, although no gun was seen. The suspect left the store without any drugs and appears to have fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a while male adult, 5’9”, 180lbs, brown hair, acne, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Goleta Police along with Sheriff’s deputies and a Sheriff’s helicopter searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
