LOMPOC P.D. DUI CHECKPOINT RESULTS

LOMPOC- June 14th, 2009

The Lompoc Police Department is dedicated to keeping our roadways safe through both enforcement and education.  On Sunday 6-12-09 and 6-13-09 the Lompoc Police Department conducted 2 DUI / Drivers License checkpoints in the 200 block of W. Central Ave and the 200 block of No. H Street . The purpose of the checkpoint was not only to detect and arrest drivers under the influence of alcohol / drugs, but also locate drivers who were unlicensed, as well as remind everyone of the dangers of impaired driving. 

The following charges/arrests were made during the checkpoint:
