Sheriff's Narcotics Detectives Arrest Drug Dealer in Buellton

Buellton - February 5th, 2008

On February 5, 2008, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives conducted a search warrant at the residence of a suspected drug dealer located in the 100 block of East Highway 246 in Buellton, after a month long investigation. Two subjects were arrested, both suspected of dealing and using Methamphetamine.

Narcotics Detectives conducting the search warrant contacted 25 year old Tuan Nguyen (03-19-1982.) at his residence. Narcotics Detectives seized over one ounce of packaged methamphetamine for sale, ecstasy tablets, marijuana packaging materials, scales, approximately two hundred dollars and other paraphernalia associated with the sales of narcotics. Tuan Nguyen was arrested for possession and transportation of methamphetamine for sales, possession of a false compartment, possession of marijuana, under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into Lompoc City Jail in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.

As Narcotics Detectives were conducting the search warrant an additional suspect arrived and identified as 28 year old Brandon Miller (10-24-1979). Miller was found to be driving under the influence of drugs and in violation of his probation. He was booked into Lompoc City Jail without bail due to his probation hold.
