Bank Robbery City of Goleta

GOLETA - February 27th, 2009

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Goleta on Friday afternoon.

The man walked into the Rabobank on the 5900-block of Calle Real just after 4:00pm and handed a teller a note demanding money. He got an undisclosed amount of cash before escaping on foot. He did not appear to have a weapon.

The suspect is described as a white male with a surfer tan, six feet tall, wearing sunglasses, a green beanie, gray long sleeve shirt, and gloves.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Dept, has obtained surveillance photos that are being released to the public to develop any possible leads.
