Narcotics Detectives Along with Santa Maria P.D. Serve Warrants in Santa Ynez Valley

Santa Ynez Valley- March 5th, 2008

On Wednesday, March 5, 2008, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Detectives, with assistance from the Santa Maria Police Department Narcotics Unit, served four narcotic related search warrants in the Santa Ynez Valley. Two locations were in the City of Solvang and the other two in the City of Buellton.  As a result of the searches Narcotics Detectives made four arrests seizing 5 ounces of cocaine and approximately $4,000 in cash. The 5 ounces of Cocaine has an estimated street value of $14,000.00.

Jose Aguirre (29 years) was arrested for Cocaine sales, and possession of Cocaine for sale. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail and held without bail due to violation of his Probation terms.

Marcos Padilla (23 years) was arrested for Cocaine sales, and possession of Cocaine for sale. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail and held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.

Theresa Cavazos (45 years) was arrested for Cocaine sales, and possession of Cocaine for sale. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail and held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.

Amber Cave (21 years) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance, and child endangerment. She was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail and held in lieu of $2,500.00 bail.
