Randy and Evi Quaid Remanded to Custody

Santa Barbara - April 26th, 2010

At approximately 12:45pm on Monday, April 26, 2010, Santa Barbara County Custody Deputies booked Randy Quaid (DOB 10/1/50) and his wife, Evi Quaid (8/2/63) into the County’s main jail after a Superior Court judge remanded the couple to custody during the Quaid’s court appearance earlier in the day.

The Quaids were in court today after missing several court dates on the following charges:

Defrauding an Innkeeper          (537(A)(2) PC – Felony)
Burglary                                     (459 PC – Felony)Criminal Conspiracy                                (182(A)(1) PC – Felony)

Both were booked on $100,000 bail which they have posted. They left the jail complex at approximately 4:30pm. Their next court date is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
