Vandenberg Village Bank Robbery

Vandenberg Village- July 12th, 2010

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of a bank robbery this afternoon at the Rabobank in Vandenberg Village.

At approximately 2:56pm on Monday, July 12, 2010 Sheriff’s Dispatchers received a report that a man had walked into the bank on the 3700 Block of Constellation Road showed a gun and demanded money from a teller. The suspect left the building after getting an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last scene leaving on what appeared to be a mountain bicycle.

Witnesses describe the suspect as wearing a blue long sleeved t-shirt, black pants, black shoes, a gold chain necklace, red and gray black fluffy gloves, an open face motorcycle helmet with blue and black stripes, and goggles (with “Scott” on the side). The suspect also had a black backpack.
