Sheriff's Gang Unit Arrest 10 in Early Morning Operation
Guadalupe / Santa Maria - August 8th, 2008
Earlier this morning, Friday, August 8, 2008, the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department Gang Unit with the assistance of several other local agencies served three search warrants, and conducted approximately 30 Probation and Parole searches in the cities of Guadalupe and Santa Maria.
As a result of the search warrants and Probation / Parole searches, 9 adults and 1 juvenile were arrested;
Alejandro Carrillo (25), Miguel Alvarez (28), Gilbert Victorino (46), Joseph Chavez (27), Luis Gonzalez (23), and Joseph Munoz (31) were arrested for Parole Violation.
Alejandro Garcia (32) was arrested for Probation violation
Jesus Jose Gomez (19) was arrested for a warrant
Jose Ignacio Bernal (19) was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and for being in possession of a dangerous weapon. The nine adults were booked into the Santa Maria Sheriff’s Station Jail.
A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and was booked into Santa Maria Juvenile Hall.
