Lompoc Drug Bust

Lompoc - November 7th, 2008

On Thursday, November 6, 2008 at approximately 11am,  Narcotics Detectives with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant in the 800-block of North F Street, in the city of Lompoc.  Upon entering the residence, detectives found William Elijah Sr. (01-15-67), attempting to flush 38 grams of rock cocaine, down the toilet. 

He was unsuccessful which allowed detectives to retrieve the rock cocaine from the toilet and take it as evidence. An additional 7 grams of rock cocaine and a digital scale were also seized from inside the home. The total street value of the rock cocaine was approximately $4,500. 

Elijah was booked for 11351.5 H&S (Possession of Rock Cocaine for Sale), 11350 H&S (Possession of a Controlled Substance) and 135 PC (Destruction of Evidence). 

His girlfriend, Charolette Garrett (12-31-65) was arrested for 11351.5 H&S (Possession of Rock Cocaine for Sale). 

Both were booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail. Elijah, who is currently on active parole, is being held without bail and Garrett’s bail is set at $30,000.
