Sheriff’s Office Releases Identity of Female Decedent Found on Beach in Carpinteria  

The female decedent who was located yesterday morning, March 27, 2018, on the beach near the Seal Rookery in Carpinteria has been identified as being 37-year-old Anita Rebecca Ruiz of Santa Barbara.  Next of kin has been notified. Courtnie Hayson is wanted on a $100,000.00 felony warrant charging her with conspiracy and identity theft.  Hayson also has 6 misdemeanor warrants for various drug related charges. She is described as 5’05, 124 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. Her last known address was in Santa Maria CA.

Body of Female Discovered on Beach in Carpinteria
