Suspect Arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Lompoc, Calif. – Detectives have arrested a suspect for an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred on September 28, 2020 in the 2000-block of N. San Marcos Road. Detectives served a search and arrest warrant yesterday in the 400-block of W. North Avenue in Lompoc. 22-year-old Jordan Parker was arrested on a warrant for assault with a deadly weapon (felony), as well as the on-view charge of felon in possession of a firearm (felony), and has since been released on $65,000 bail.

Details of the fight, including the type of weapon are being withheld, as investigation is ongoing.

Santa Barbara, Calif. – Detectives are investigating a large fight that erupted at a party and resulted in two victims being assaulted with a deadly weapon. At 12:45 a.m. on the morning of 9/28/20, Sheriff’s deputies, along with fire and medics responded to the 2000-block of N. San Marcos Road for a 911 call of victims who had been injured in a fight. When deputies arrived, they learned that the home was a vacation rental and two people had been attacked with a weapon and were being treated at a local hospital. Detectives and Forensics Technicians responded to the scene and are continuing the investigation.

Details of the fight, including the type of weapon, and suspect identity are being withheld as the incident is further investigated. The victims are expected to recover.
