Our deputies made a sweet stop at a neighborhood lemonade stand while out on patrol. Summer is in full swing, and we love seeing kids out creating memories, meeting neighbors, and sharing a little kindness one cup at a time.

These recruits have put in the hard work, dedication, and long hours to reach this milestone, and we’re excited to see them begin their careers serving our community.
One of the best parts of the day was seeing so many members of the SBSO family come out to celebrate, cheer them on, and officially welcome them to the team. That support speaks volumes about the culture of this organization.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office was proud to celebrate the grand opening of our new Montecito Office at Rosewood Miramar Beach. This innovative public-private partnership creates a closer operational presence in the community, helping improve responsiveness while strengthening relationships with residents, businesses, and visitors.
Thank you to our community partners and everyone who joined us for the ribbon cutting. We look forward to serving Montecito from this new location for years to come.
