The Sheriff’s Office has a convenient method for depositing funds on an inmate’s account. By using TouchPayOnline, deposits can be made by phone, online, or at a kiosk which is open and accessible 24 hours a day. (These are currently not available and will be installed very soon)
The kiosks are located at the Santa Barbara County Northern Branch Jail and Main Santa Barbara Jail facilities. The kiosks accept debit/credit and cash deposits. To place money on an inmate’s account by phone, call 866-232-1899. Individual’s name and ID number are required, use Site ID #293110. To make an on-line deposit, go to www.TouchPayOnline.com.
This service provides greater accessibility for friends and family members who have an incarcerated loved one to make deposits more conveniently, regardless of whether they can travel to the Main Jail at a specific time of day or not. Anywhere in the world, anytime of the day or night, they can send money to an inmate.
Now Available: www.icaregifts.com is the most comprehensive custom package program in the correctional industry. This is a program designed to allow family members and friends to send packages to inmates. If you have questions, our iCare Support Team is available from 8:00am – 9:00pm ET, 7 days a week. Last week, Sheriff’s Dispatchers were recognized with @sbcfire first-ever Unit Citation Award for leading the successful training and transition of all fire and AMR dispatch services to the Regional Fire Communications Center (RFCC).
Their leadership and coordination behind the scenes helped ensure a seamless shift for critical emergency services—work that makes a real difference in moments that matter most.
This week, we proudly recognize National Correctional Officers Week and honor the dedicated men and women who serve in our custody facilities with professionalism, compassion, patience, courage, and unwavering commitment. This week, members of our custody team were recognized by the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors with a Resolution commemorating the week, and with a BBQ lunch celebration in appreciation of their service. 👏
As Sheriff Bill Brown shared in his message to personnel, corrections is a difficult profession that often requires staff to manage challenging and unpredictable situations with self-discipline and professionalism, while also helping provide incarcerated individuals the opportunity to change their lives for the better. He also recognized the many professionals who support our jail operations, including counselors, records and administrative staff, cooks, utility workers, and medical and mental health providers.
