Buellton, Calif. – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office invites community members to join deputies for Coffee with a Cop on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Zaca Coffee in Buellton.
This informal gathering offers residents an opportunity to meet local law enforcement personnel, ask questions, share concerns, and get to know the deputies who serve their community. There are no agendas, speeches, or presentations – just friendly conversations over a cup of coffee.
Zaca Coffee is generously supporting the event by offering free drip coffee to attendees.
“One of my priorities as Buellton’s new Chief of Police is to build strong relationships with the people we serve,” said Lieutenant Tom Green, Chief of Police for the City of Buellton. “Coffee with a Cop gives us an opportunity to connect outside of an emergency or a call for service. I look forward to meeting community members, hearing what’s important to them, and continuing to build the trust and partnerships that help keep Buellton safe.”
Coffee with a Cop is designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve by creating opportunities for open dialogue in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
