Carpinteria, Calif. – Sheriff’s detectives believe that the decedent found on Toro Canyon Road yesterday is not criminal in nature. Coroner’s detectives are releasing the identity of the decedent as 54-year-old Shane Craig Bandy of Carpinteria. Cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
